Welcome! These Hire Purchase Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your agreement with Eykrom Payfone ("Eykrom") for purchasing a mobile phone through our installment plan. By entering into this agreement, you acknowledge that you have read and understood these Terms.

INSTALLMENT PAYMENTS

You agree to purchase the phone through daily installments. The specific amount of each installment can be found on our website [here](link to website).

INITIAL DEPOSIT AND PAYMENT SCHEDULE

• Initial Deposit: You are required to pay an initial deposit of 50% of the total phone cost.
• Payment Methods: We accept cash payments, as well as 60-day and 90-day financing options.
• Payment Period: A month is considered 30 days for calculation purposes.

TIMELY PAYMENTS

You are responsible for making each installment payment on its due date.

LATE PAYMENT PENALTY

If a payment is overdue by one week, a late fee of GHC2 will be applied daily.

LIABILITY FOR DAMAGED, LOST OR STOLEN PHONE

You are financially responsible for the phone regardless of damage, loss, or theft. You must continue making payments even if the phone is no longer in your possession.

RETURN POLICY

• You may return the phone within 7 business days of purchase due to financial hardship or legal reasons. In this case, you will receive a 75% refund of your initial deposit, minus any deductions for scratches or damage to the phone.
• Financial hardship is defined as defaulting on payments for 14 consecutive days.

LATE RETURN PENALTY

• If you return the phone after the 7-day window, a daily deduction will be applied to your remaining deposit balance.
• No deposit refund will be given after 30 days of purchase.

GUARANTOR'S RESPONSIBILITY

A guarantor is someone who agrees to be financially responsible for the phone if you fail to make payments or abscond with the device.

SCREEN REPLACEMENT DISCOUNT

• As a valued customer, you are entitled to a one-time 20% discount on screen replacement.
• You can choose to pay 60% upfront and spread the remaining cost over 30 days (if the remaining payment period allows).
• This discount is only available to customers with a consistent payment history.

OWNERSHIP OF DEVICE

You do not own the phone until you have made all required payments in full.

‍

PENALTY FOR OVERDUE PAYMENT

A guarantor is someone who agrees to be financially responsible for the phone if you fail to make payments or abscond with the device.

‍

EARLY PAYMENT DISCOUNT

We appreciate early payments! You will receive a 10% discount on your remaining balance if you pay off your phone early (one month before the final due date).

CUSTOMER AGREEMENT

By clicking the "I Agree to the Terms" button, you acknowledge that you have read and understood these Terms and Conditions. You agree to be fully responsible for any consequences resulting from a breach of this agreement. You also confirm that you are satisfied with the condition of the mobile device and acknowledge its originality and quality.
